Dance away Dravet – September 16th!

We are The Watsons, from Bucks County PA. Our family decided that this was our year to give back to the DSF and Dravet community by hosting Dance away Dravet in honor of our 7 year old daughter Emma, who is living with Dravet syndrome. We wanted our event to encompass all parts of who Emma is, and what makes her so special and  unique. We decided to host an event which will be filled with family, fun, dancing, and fundraising. Dance Away Dravet, will take place on Saturday, September 16th at The Bucks Club in Jamison, PA from 5:30-10:30 pm. Join us to enjoy cocktails, dinner, and silent and live auctions.

This year’s event honoree is Stephen J. Falchek, MD. Dr. Falchek is a compassionate and dedicated pediatric neurologist at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Delaware. He is committed to providing the best care possible for children with complex neurological issues. Dr. Falchek co-founded a chronic care facility for children, serves as a program director for pediatric neurology training, and actively contributes to promoting diversity and equality. With a strong educational background and numerous awards, he continues to make a significant difference in the lives of his young patients.

We recognize that while we can’t control much with a diagnosis of Dravet syndrome, we CAN control how we give back to the DSF and its community. It is absolutely vital that we hold onto hope for our kids and giving back is one way we can. Our kids deserve better and I couldn’t feel more proud of partnering with the DSF and hosting Dance Away Dravet, along with committee members Sarah & Adam Jacobs and Niki Watson.

Special thanks to all of our sponsors for their support of this year’s event, including our Title Sponsor, Alera Group. Tickets and sponsorships are still available. To learn more, visit www.danceawaydravet.org.
