DSF City Bash

Each year, DSF designates one special gala or benefit evening as their signature event – City Bash. Previously hosted in New York and San Francisco, City Bash unites advocates, families, industry partners, and supporters from across the country to celebrate the Dravet community. As this event travels to cities nationwide, it embraces the unique spirit and culture of each location, offering an opportunity to connect with local families. This memorable evening is not only a celebration but also a critical fundraiser to support DSF’s research, programs, and resources.

In 2025, City Bash: Rally for Dravet was held in Boston and graciously hosted by seven local families who courageously shared heartfelt stories of their children living with Dravet syndrome. With more than 250 guests in attendance, the evening raised over $430,000 in support of Dravet Syndrome Foundation’s mission.

The program highlighted the Swoyer family and their son, Jake, whose journey with Dravet syndrome deeply moved all who attended. Since the event, Jake has sadly passed away, but his story continues to inspire hope, resilience, and determination throughout the Dravet community.

Following the program, guests enjoyed a fun-filled evening of ping pong competitions, games, and celebration. It was truly an unforgettable experience.
